2023 Update & "Whiteout on Black Peak" Screenshots

It’s been a while since an update. This year has been a wild one and there’s a lot to catch up on. As the pace is slowing a bit now, with winter vibes quickly rolling in, I am going through some video footage from earlier this year. More on that further down.

The biggest update I have yet to mention here is a mountain climbing project I collaborated on between mid-June to early-September. I had the privilege of joining Andrew Okerlund on his quests to climb the 100 highest peaks of Washington during his Summer break. “Bulgers in a Season” is the project name. On September 11th, Andrew completed summiting all 100 of them in a span of 85 days and is now the youngest finisher at the age of 20 for this historic peak list called the Bulger List.

During Andrew’s non-stop peakbagging project, we summited 42 of the Bulger Peaks together and I tried my best to capture video footage all the while pushing myself to keep up. In addition to the 42, I also climbed another 16 of them this year bringing my personal total to 89/100.

Back in May, one of those 16 climbs was Black Peak.
